About Chabad Girls High School
Our Mission:
CGHS is founded on the guiding words of the Rebbe that the knowledge of the students and their development be based on the fear of Hashem and chassidishe character traits.
The Rebbe emphasized that the state of our future generations is entrusted to our young women. They are our future teachers, leaders, and the cornerstones of family life.
It is our goal not only to impart knowledge but also to prepare our students for life, inspiring them and providing tools to live committed, Jewish lives and positively impact future generations.
We aim to nurture confident, informed young women, grounded in Torah, Yiras Shomayim, Chassidus, and good Midos, with an emphasis on their connection to the Rebbe.
We encourage parental involvement and are dedicated to partnering in the Chinuch of our students, always available to assist and support.
Academics:
Academic excellence is a cornerstone of our program, where we offer a rich and varied curriculum. Our aim is to ignite a passion for learning, encouraging intellectual curiosity and critical thinking, thereby preparing our students for continued learning throughout life.
Chassidus:
Chassidus is integral to our educational philosophy, particularly the teachings of our Rebbe. We encourage our students to apply these lessons in their daily lives, embodying the principles of Chassidic thought in their personal growth, community involvement, and Hiskashrus.
Social and Emotional Health:
We place a strong emphasis on the social and emotional well-being of our students. By creating a supportive and understanding community, we aim to develop resilience, empathy, and emotional intelligence, ensuring that our students are equipped to navigate the complexities of the modern world with confidence and grace.
Leadership:
Leadership development at CGHS is rooted in the concept of Shlichus and community leadership, inspired by the teachings of the Lubavitcher Rebbe. We prepare our students to lead in their unique ways and styles, instilling in them the confidence and skills to make a positive impact in their future communities and personal circles. Our program is designed to empower each student to discover her own path to leadership, grounded in Jewish values and personal strengths.
